Diplomate

Literally, one who holds a diploma, but usually limited in meaning to holders of advanced professional degrees and licensed by professional societies to practice their professions. Examples of diplomates are physicians who have taken advanced training in a medical specialty and passed intensive examinations administered by a board of senior specialists.
