In an effort to strengthen the links between high school education and the world of work, most vocational education programs tie into so-called TECH-PREP OR TWO-PLUS-TWO PROGRAMS— four-year vocational programs that combine the last two years of high school vocational education with two years of vocational education at associated community colleges.
