Iowa Tests of Basic Skills (ITBS) - American Education

One of the most widely used batteries of achievement tests for elementary and middle school students. Published by Riverside Publishing Co., Chicago, ITBS measures achievement in reading, arithmetic, spelling, language, science and social studies in grades three through eight. The Iowa Tests of Educational Development measure achievement of high school students in the same subjects but also include tests in social studies, natural sciences and literature interpretation.
