Cooperative Extension Service - American Education
A U.S. Department of Agriculture agency established in 1914 by the SMITH-LEVER ACT to provide technical information and guidance to farmers and others living in rural areas. Cooperative Extension Service programs range from formal classes at LAND-GRANT COLLEGES to soil analysis for individual farmers.
