Normal distribution curve - American Education

A bell-shaped graph representing the distribution of scores to form a symmetrical pattern, with the same number of scores evenly distributed on either side of a vertical line drawn from the baseline of the graph to the peak of the bell curve. In the normal distribution curve, which is also known as a Gaussian Curve or DeMoiovre’s Curve, the mean (average), mode (the score that occurs most often) and median (the middle score, with half the remaining scores above and half below) are identical.
